House of Prayer is a ministry dedicated to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We are a ministry that God has called and ordained to remove bondages from HIS people, whether it is through physical healing or through a word of knowledge as directed by the Holy Spirit. We are no longer under the curse of sickness and disease.  Jesus has overcome all bondages that plague HIS people. HE fulfilled what Isaiah prophesied.  Isaiah, 53:5, "But HE was wounded for our transgressions, HE was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon HIM, And by HIS strips we are healed." (NKJV) Jesus laid his life down for all humanity, not just Christians.

     Jesus obeyed THE FATHER and laid down HIS life for us. So when we Go before THE FATHER in prayer, God sees Jesus, not us, because Jesus made a way for us to go straight to God.  Before Jesus laid down HIS life, we could not go the THE FATHER because of our sinful lives.  But now we can, thanks to Jesus! When we go to the FATHER, HE sees HIS SON, the spotless lamb.

     No person alone whether male or female has the power to heal another person.  It is only by the power of the Holy Spirit directed by Jesus that healings occur, whether is physical or mental healing it can only be accomplished by the Lord Jesus.  God can and does heal a person by prayer and spending time along with God daily.  God can also heal people through another person whom HE has called, chosen and anointed to bring healing to others. 

    God has called, chosen and anointed JoAnn Young for this divine healing ministry.  JoAnn is a Registered Nurse and also has a Bachelors' degree in Ministry Leadership from the College of Biblical Studies.  JoAnn is married to Jerry Young who is also a Licensed Paramedic and a Registered Nurse.  They both attend Lakewood Chruch.

     I thank the Lord Jesus that HIS life given up for us brought healing to the world.  God loves us just that much! HE allowed HIS only son to suffer on the cross for us! Isn't God awesome? ( John 3:16)
